Recently had the opportunity to meet with Kelsey to discuss a number of Financial vehicles and strategies for both my personal and business portfolios. Kelsey came prepared to discuss our transition from regular health insurance which we purchased ourselves to Medicare with a supplemental. Her knowledge of the steps in preparation for the cutover greatly eased our concerns. She guided us through on navigating SSA and Medicare websites. Once we were setup there, then she began the explanation of what all Medicare covers and what it does not. Her insight helped us select a supplemental suited specifically to our needs and within budget.

Long-term care is the type of assistance people need when they can no longer perform some or all basic activities of daily living (ADLs) which can include eating, bathing, continence, dressing, toileting and transferring (that is, moving in or out of a bed, chair or wheelchair). Long-term care needs typically arise as part of the normal aging process, but they also can be due to an injury or illness, such as multiple sclerosis, stroke or rheumatoid arthritis, or due to a cognitive impairment like Alzheimer’s disease. Medicare may not cover many of these costs associated with aging.
