Find out how Bankers Life long-term care insurance can offer you or a loved one the flexibility and independence you deserve. Someone may need long-term care if they can no longer perform activities of daily living on their own (such as eating, bathing, dressing, or taking medications). These assisted care needs usually arise as part of the normal aging process, but can also occur as a result of injury, illness, or cognitive impairment. Long-term care can be costly and Medicare may not cover many of the expenses. Long-term care insurance pays benefits for assisted care services received at a facility or at home
