Christina is very professional and knowledgeable regarding the Medicare issues. She was genuinely interested and patient as we reviewed the options to consider and she waited for my crazy work schedule to make the timing work. Christina has always been very helpful in directing me with coverage options. Today was exceptional! My Plan B Medicare had been suspended. She had never dealt with that before, but she came to my house and went through the process together. She contacted Medicare and Social Security. The thought of doing both in the same day is daunting to say the least. In the end, she was able to get answers that were never given to me. When she says she'll help you, she really will. Long-term care is the type of assistance people need when they can no longer perform some or all basic activities of daily living (ADLs) which can include eating, bathing, continence, dressing, toileting and transferring (that is, moving in or out of a bed, chair or wheelchair). Long-term care needs typically arise as part of the normal aging process, but they also can be due to an injury or illness, such as multiple sclerosis, stroke or rheumatoid arthritis, or due to a cognitive impairment like Alzheimer’s disease. Medicare may not cover many of these costs associated with aging.
