To whoever is turn 65 this year or even next year. Please take the time to make an appointment with wonderful agent Cherylanda Gardner. She will make this process so much easier dealing with the Medicare she explains everything so you can understand the paperwork. Cherylanda Gardner is an Angel she is a person that goes way above to help you. She helps you get all you can and what works for you with Medicare coverage. The ladies were very friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. Although I did feel very pushed for my husband and myself to sit down and discuss life insurance for us. And then when I received the call to let me know my moms insurance was approved I again felt like I was being pushed to make an appointment with them. To put the icing on the cake she had said!! Ok we can set you up for an appointment and then I will give you your moms paperwork after we had already discussed it being mailed out. I personally do not like being pushed into something I’m not ready to do. I feel this is a bad tactic on any company’s behalf.

Long-term care is the type of assistance people need when they can no longer perform some or all basic activities of daily living (ADLs) which can include eating, bathing, continence, dressing, toileting and transferring (that is, moving in or out of a bed, chair or wheelchair). Long-term care needs typically arise as part of the normal aging process, but they also can be due to an injury or illness, such as multiple sclerosis, stroke or rheumatoid arthritis, or due to a cognitive impairment like Alzheimer’s disease. Medicare may not cover many of these costs associated with aging.
